Right now im on the g502 lightspeed and i wouldn't want to go back to the normal mousewheel, being wireless is also good. G502 Hero = third version, "better" sensor, worse switches Have been through over 30 g502 RMA's and if you don't want to go through that or if you are not able to solder new switches into the mouse, i say stay away from this mouse, in fact stay away from every logitech mouse then, cause all of them will give you double clicks these days. Right now im on the g502 lightspeed and i wouldn't want to go back to the normal mousewheel and being wireless is also good. every version after that gave me double clicks from after a few days to a few weeks or a few months, it never lasted any longer. it lasted me a long time at first without any double clicks. the mousewheel started to fail faster, but if you had one with a working mouse wheel, it was a good mouse. I think quality wise, the first "core" edition, was the best one. also there is a possibility that the mouse wheel will skip inputs. it's way to heavy, so you it will move to the left and right and make noises while moving the mouse fast from side to side. G502 Lightspeed = wireless, new lighter mouse wheel, other then that sadly the same as the hero versionĪll of them can and will get double clicks sooner or later, also the wired g502 versions can give you problems with the mouse wheel. G502 Hero = third version, "better" sensor, thinner usb cable, worse switches G502 Proteus Spectrum = second version, exactly the same but rgb G502 Proteus Core = first version, no rgb
